André Saraiva (born July 2, 1971) is a Swedish-French artist who gained worldwide recognition for his graffiti work and the iconic "Mr. A" tag: a stick figure wearing a top hat that he has been spraying across the walls of Paris since the early 1990s.
Saraiva evolved from a street artist to a gallery artist, creative director, and international nightlife entrepreneur. His work is characterized by the use of unconventional surfaces—from scribbles on paper and notebooks to street signs—rather than traditional canvases. He is particularly known for his "Dream Concert" posters, which visualize impossible line-ups of artists and have appeared in cities such as Paris, New York, London, and Los Angeles.
Beyond his visual art, Saraiva is a prominent figure in the cultural scene, notably through his involvement in Parisian nightlife, including the founding of the club Le Baron. His work is exhibited in galleries worldwide, and he remains a significant voice in the contemporary street art movement.
