This set of six elements is a direct echo of the bronze sculptures that have stood in the garden of the KMSKA in Antwerp for decades. The forms are milled from solid oak, hand-sanded and oiled — each piece a tangible reference to the monumental work Bert De Leeuw completed in 1970. Stack them, scatter them, combine them: the possibilities are exponential, just as the title says. Combine with the Middelheim set for a complete collection of all twelve realised elements. Numbered and signed by Hendrik De Leeuw on the certificate of authenticity, packaged in a luxurious box with booklet.

Bert De Leeuw (1926–2007) was an Antwerp artist whose work — from matter paintings to monumental bronze sculptures — explores the tension between form and meaning, the finite and the infinite.
